BEGO - Bremer Goldschlägerei Wilhelm Herbst - was founded in Bremen in 1890. Its founder Dr. Wilhelm Herbst laid the foundation for the group through his invention of the rotation method, and what began as a precision dental laboratory grew over more than a century into a manufacturer spanning alloys, ceramics, CAD/CAM, and implantology.
The company remains family-owned and is now in its fifth generation, with over 480 employees and implant systems distributed in more than 100 countries.
